Most of the market use Paper film and Plastic/PE film to protect the acrylic sheet

Those film paper are almost same, just for different purposes and their respective advantages.

• Plastic film, we call PE film, it is through the electrostatic adsorption, but easy to adsorb dust. It’s easy to remove after long time storage. It has a high degree of transparency, not easy to aging, not easy to turn yellow, can maintain the clarity of the acrylic sheet for a long time. In addition, PE film has good toughness and stretchability, which can adapt to the shape change of acrylic sheet. Brazil, Colombia, the United States customers mostly use PE film.

• Paper film is glued, after a long time may not be good to remove, it can provide effective protection for the acrylic sheet, prevent its transportation or installation process is damaged, the appearance looks flat, will not adsorb dust looks clean. Iran, Australia, Southeast Asia, Peru customers use paper film.

If the acrylic sheet used for laser cutting, PE plastic film is recommended, paper film will be ignited when cutting and black smoke will appear.

If the customer is now in the rainy season, pe film is recommended,  paper film back to the moisture, moisture can not be dispersed, the acrylic sheet is easy to deformation, customers in the use of acrylic special adhesive bonding process is easy to get up the white edge!
